UK Today News: Kevin Eubanks Leaves The Tonight Show – Rickey Minor Takes Over As Bandleader

Kevin Eubanks Leaving The Tonight Show: Kevin Eubanks, the 52 year bandleader and side kick host of Jay Leno on “The Tonight Show”, bids farewell to the show this Friday. He has been on the show since 1992;with his main role being a support comedian to Jay Leno as well as the lead guitarist on the shows’ band. He became the musical director of the show in 1995.

After being on the show for 18 years, he finally took the initiative to leave the show and concentrate on his recording career. Leno spoke to the media saying, that he and Eubanks didn’t have any arguments on his decision of leaving the show, but said as long as he was with them, they had lot of fun together.

In April this year, Eubanks announced that he would be resigning from the show, and along with him the five member band that accompanied him through out the years too will bid farewell. Rickey Minor, who is better known as the band leader on American Idol, will replace Kevin Eubanks on the daily talk show.

Kat Stacks Gets Slapped: Kat Stacks is a famous internet groupie who he uses her twitter account to contact stars for sexual encounters. Some of those stars include Nelly, Bow Wow, Aaron Carter, and Lil Twist to name a few. Now reports say that Kat Stacks got slapped by a man.

Reports say that an associate of Bow Wow was not happy with the things that Kat Stacks said about him, and so he went up to her in a bar and slapped her.

The man has been identified as Fabolous’s Brother and in a video taken at the bar, it shows him walking up to Stacks, slapping her twice, hitting her cell phone out of her hand and repeatedly demanding that she apologize to Bow Wow.

Kat Stacks is allegedly working on a lawsuit against the men who assaulted her.

UK Today News: BP Oil Spill Live Feed – Top Kill Procedure To Attempt To Stop Oil Leak

BP Oil Spill Live Feed, Top Kill: In hopes of plugging the leaking oil well that has been gushing out gallons of oil ever since the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion, BP has begun a new procedure called “Top Kill” that will attempt to drill mud into the well to block the oil flow into the Gulf of Mexico.

According to reports, BP’s “Top Kill” plan involves pumping fluids into the well and then plugging it with cement. Top Kill is likely to take two days to be implemented.

BP Press Officer Robert Wine sent an email to FOX News producer Dan Gallo, he said: “The tests involve pumping drilling fluids into the BOP to measure pressures and flow paths. This work may take up to another day and, when complete, a decision will be made on the execution of the top kill procedure itself.”

Since this procedure has reportedly never before been carried out in 5,000-feet, the engineers are still trying to figure out whether the intense water pressure could hamper this process.

UK Today News: Who Won Dancing With The Stars 2010 – Nicole Scherzinger Is The DWTS Winner

Who won Dancing with the Stars 2010, Nicole and Derek, DWTS Winner, DWTS Finale, Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy – After a very exciting Dancing with the Stars season 10, the Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) Finale took place on May 26 2010, where a new DWTS winner was given the Mirror Ball trophy at the end of the night.

So who won Dancing with the Stars 2010? The DWTS winner is none other than the very gorgeous Nicole Scherzinger and her partner Derek Hough. The Pussycat doll and Derek got perfect scores for their performances on the Argentine tango and jive, and went on to win the show.

A surprise second place winner was figure skater Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya, while reporter Erin Andrews and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy came in at the third place.

After Nicole Scherzinger performed the very energetic jive, head judge Len Goodman was so taken aback that he told her “There can only be one winner of ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ It should be you.” Nicole and Derek got a score of 30 for the jive performance.
